VDI on MacBook Air!

Hello All,

Need suggestions! This is my first time buying MacBook, wanted to ask if anyone has run window VDI on MacBook Air?
I am planning to buy M2 Air with 8/512 config. Not sure if this would be enough for VDI or so I need to go for 16gb. I will not be doing much of video editing, most of my work would be on VDI and apart of that basic surfing and light coding.
Please recommend which model would be better. Also MBP M2 8/512gb is also of the same price as air for this config

8GB would be plenty to run a VDI client. All the work happens on the server side of things so demand on the client side is very low.
