As the title said, I installed VectorWorks 9.5.3 (yes, I know it's an old version, but upgrades are expensive) on an iMac G5, but for some reason whenever it's in the foreground it chews up 100% of the processor, which is rather annoying if for no other reason than the fan ramps up. If it's not the foreground app, the processor idles as expected.
The funny thing is, I'm running an identical install (literally--one is a copy of the other so I don't have to go through installing all the patches) on a DPG4 and it works as expected, with no maxing of the processor.
Is this something to do with the G5, or is there some other reason this might be happening?
