Hi,

I've just tried to install Veency on iOS5 on my iPhone 4. As soon as I reboot the device (from cydia), it turns off, turns on, and hangs at the apple logo screen. It's been like this for a long time now.

Have I just bricked my iPhone?

Thanks,

J.

No you iphone is not a bricked, Brick don't have Apple logos on the screens...

If you have SSH, you can SSH into the phone and remove the package.

If you don't have SSH installed or the phone is hanging before the daemon started then you may be out of luck and you will have to restore. (hope you have a recent backup of our phone).

Make sure to read release notes, ask on the forums and on developers website before installing any package from Cydia.

Jailbreak on IOS 5? There is only a tethered jailbreak out at the moment. Which means every time you reboot you will need to 'boot tether' on redsnow or whatever you use, on your computer.

Since you needed to reboot to install Veency, you're going to need to go plug your iphone into your computer and boot tether (if you don't know how to do this i suggest to youtube it).
