I just grabbed a budget 4k monitor 32" samsung for my MBP, it's nice especially for the price. It offers freesync which I have turned on, with a setting for ultimate.
The info on monitor resolution changed from 30Hz to FREESYNC Im not sure I notice a difference, i'm not gaming on it. Any way to tell if it is working via the mac? Do macs support freesync?
Thanks

To the best of my knowledge, I don't believe MacOS supports Freesync, at least at this time. But I am not 100% of this.
