Venting about being Trapped in iPhone 6+ order hell

I can't believe that trying to spend $900 could possibly be this hard! I was not allowed to pre-order without accepting the subsidy by Verizon. I pay cash for my phones so they don't mess with my grandfathered plan. Once released, I still can't order without jumping through those same hoops. Everyone's suggestion is to "wait and go to an Apple store in a couple of weeks". Easily said for folks that don't work night shift and are forced to stay awake until 1000 when they open, not to mention the nearest store is over an hour away. Arrrgggghhhh!!!!
