As I'm a WoW player, I need Ventrilo to go and raid. It took me quit long to convince the guild to switch to Speex, but in the end, I was on Ventirlo, talking with the guild. That was with Ventirlo 2.3.

Now, recently, 3.0 was released and one of the features was a brand new update of the Speex codec, giving better quality for Windows users. I figured I'd try it, seeing that the server my guild uses, would soon update to 3.0 anyway. So I downloaded and installed it, gave it a try, works and all, now I only had to wait for the server to update. But it didn't (and won't for a while).

Se here's my problem, I can't get Ventrilo 2.3 back, because when I try to install it, it says there's a newer version on the HD. I tried deleting the 3.0 ventrilo, tried AppZapper.. Nothing works..

Anyone got an idea how to fix this?

Oh, it's on OS X 10.5.1.
