I tried searching Google for this, but "open" is bringing up the action of opening apps.

I installed macOS 13.2.1 update yesterday. Today I returned from work to see a popup that there is a background item called "open" from an unidentified developer that is running in the background. I've since turned it off.

Has anyone seen this before?

I got the same notification this morning. Updated to MacOS 13.2.1 yesterday as well.

I didn't install any new app since upgrading so I chalk this up to some system executable. I have a bunch of command line executables in my background list that I mostly ignore these now.

Can a mod close this thread since there is one already being discussed? Sorry, I missed the other thread when I searched.
