Ventura killed my Logitech mouse

I have a Marathon M705 mouse that had programmable buttons working fine and now they don't work and have to be manually reset each time I use the computer and it no longer has the same features available.
Can anyone suggest an alternative mouse with programmable buttons that works well in Ventura?

If it required, check permissions for accessibility, delete and re-add them.
