Who could suspect a function like this would disappear from a new OS?
No more automatic scheduling to turn on or off in system settings > battery.

The update to Ventura went seamless but finding out this: i cannot believe this…

Removed from the UI, but still available via Terminal. My guess is it wasn’t used enough to keep updating the interface.
Yeah, great: use Terminal…
An on/off scheduler seems a no-brainer feature these days where energy conservation is important.
And knowing exactly how to edit a schedule through Terminal and if you think about changing anything a month later and having to reconfigure how to do it again… Come on…

I never used this feature, but I must admit that this was a bonehead move by Apple. I can totally see where people would use this on a desktop or laptop Mac - which makes me wonder if this was an oversight by Apple's engineers or if there was an actual issue that needs to get resolved before the put it back in.
