I am so ****ing annoyed.

I upgraded to Ventura a week ago and I still regret the decision, My 2020 Macbook Pro M1 just doesn't work with an external display connected through USB-C. The USB-C dock works, the HDMI on the dock works fine, but its limited to 4K 30, which doesn't really help with the kind of work I do. The USB C to DP Cable is working fine too.

It went out as soon as I did the 13.0.1 update and it never came back, I tried every fix and even figured out a temporary fix deleting the display.plist files and restarting WindowServer to bring the display back up, rebooting the Mac causes it to die again. I figured this is a software bug more than it being a hardware bug.

As much as I love the display on the Mac, I would rather have the big 4K screen for the extra real estate and its also designed for color work. Monterey was the last version that worked with my display for me, I figured I would just do a clean install, I went to Big Sur, didn't work. Upgraded to Monterey, which also didn't help.

This is plain stupid. Its almost like the Ventura firmware is staying and the OS is the only thing thats different.

I have attached screenshots of the console window whenever I connect my cable in. If someone could read it and figure out whats up, that would be fantastic.
