I have been noticing some general sluggishness with my computer, especially with the Finder. Everything usually works but it all just seemed slower than it used to be or should be.

One step I took was to verify and repair the disk from within Mac OS. I tried that but it still finds errors. It gave me this message that I should run Repair Disk in Recovery Mode so I did that as well:

When I run Repair Disk from within Recovery Mode it goes really fast and doesn't find any problems. However, after having followed those instructions and booting back into my normal partition, running Verify Disks still finds the same problems. What else is there to do?

I will say that besides still finding the same problems, the computer does seem to be running smoother since running Repair Disk in Recovery Mode. Still doesn't instill confidence that Verify Disk is finding errors. And why does it find errors while within Mac OS but not when in Recovery Mode?

What should I do? Take it in to the Apple Store?
