Disk Utility - Repair disk permissions give me a choice of 2 hard drives.
first choice is 160.04 GB ST 3160812A - (internal SATA Disk) .
second choice - Under it is MAcintosh HD (Start up volume macintosh hd)

My desktop was acting slow and stupid and I haven't done the disk utility is 6 months or more. I reset Safari and did something similar to Firefox and I ran the verify disk permissions - I chose the second one - Macintosh hard drive.
It found errors and I had it do the repairs.

Then it occurred to me that maybe I was supposed to click on the first choice.
Does anyone know?

Is there anything else I should be doing regularly for general computer clean up?

Thanks for any tips you have for me.
