verify google email failed as well as calendar

my 4s got JB, everything seems fine, but I can't create a google email account because it always fail to verify as well as iphone calendar cannot sync due to failed log-in, I'm pretty sure that the PW is correct because I can log in my google email or calendar by using web browsers.

does anything I need to do to solve this issue?

Did you try rebooting the phone? I've seen that issue with non-jailbroken phone, they sometime just don't want to connect.

Solution

i just google
Username or password for "imap.gmail.com" is incorrect

and there comes a solution. it works.
