Verifying Disk?!? HELP

I did a "verify disk" just to make sure everything is ok (macbook 4,1 3 years old)... turns out it says I have to repair the disk... WHATS WRONG!?

COMMAND+SHIFT+3 will take a screenshot.

It could be there are some bad sectors on the disk. Try running the repair see if that works for you.

It seems pretty obvious to just repair the disc. Usually after Disc Utility is done verifying the disc, it will give a report saying what's wrong and that you need to repair the disc (if there is anything wrong with it), so just parse the text that disc utility outputs and you should be able to figure it out pretty easily, then repair the disc. If that doesn't work, you may have to re-install the OS or get a new hard drive.
