*sigh* I had gone back and forth on getting the new phones due to loss of the 3D Touch. Was already going to upgrade my mother’s phone as an early birthday gift since her xs max is having trouble with the earpiece and she has to take all of her calls on speaker. Got her the Gold 256 11 pro max.
But, for myself, I only finally pulled the trigger launch day when I went to a verizon store and played with one of the floor models. I still don’t like the haptic touch as it feels less responsive and button-like but the shortcut menus still pop up so at least it’s something... Went online and ordered her phone and ordered myself a SG 512 11 pro max.
Her phone is already on the way (initially scheduled for shipping on 9/27 but shipped 9/23 for wednesday delivery to my job).
Mine says expected 10/9 but really hoping it comes a lot sooner as I’ll be in NY for a convention between 10/1 - 10/6 and it would be nice to at least get a good chance to use the cameras while there.
Any likelihood it could ship sooner? I remember back during the X, I had a date 3 weeks after launch but it shipped two weeks earlier than expected so I only had a week wait
