Verizon $30 upgrade fee

I ordered through Apple and wasn't charged for the upgrade fee is it going to show up in my bill? Is there any way to waive the fee? Last time I upgraded was in 2010 so this my first time paying this new fee. What are you guys doing about this upgrade fee?

Got the same upgrade fee, plus had to pay taxes for the original, unsubsidized price of the phone. So stupid.

I got it waived off by calling and saying ATT offered to waive it (they didnt) and the rep waived it off for me!
