Verizon 4.2.8 MyWi infrastructure mode broken

I just updated to 4.2.8 making an ipsw in parallels and using pwnagetool tool to install. I had to use fixrecovery in tiny umbrella and the stand alone fixrecovery a few times to get it to boot after the install.

To make a long story short mywi is back to adhoc and also doesn't have the sbsSettings icon. Is this just an update needed on MyWi's part? I did read it said 4.2.6+ would be ok for infrastructure mode but I am assuming mywi just doesn't know which software im on and assuse, no infrastructure. Anyone else have a similar issue?

Not many of us have windows and can jailbreak 4.2.8 I guess. Still waiting for an official release from the team......

I understand. I used sn0wbreeze in parallels on my mac to make the ipsw and restore with pwnagetool.

i also have 4.2.8 JB verizon using snowbreeze 2.7

mywi has lost infrastructure mode! and the PSN just came back and now i have no way to get my ps3 online!! arggg

4.2.7 on verizon iPhone is having the same problem. Looks like a bug.

yeah i went from 4.2.6 greenpois0n to 4.2.8 snowbreeze

do you think it is a bug with mywi or with the jailbreak process?

i upgraded my wife's phone to 4.2.8 and it has the same problem.

There is a MyWi update, just installed it is now working with 4.2.8 properly
