Verizon 6s on AT&T Network

Can i use my VZW 6s on the AT&T network straight out of the box? Or will Verizon have to unlock the device first?

If i remember correctly, in the past you had to out the AT&T sim in first, prior to booting up the device. Is that still required?

All Verizon LTE phones are unlocked out of the box. You would just need to get an AT&T sim card and put it into the phone and it will activate with AT&T service.
