I have a Verizon USB720 broadband modem that I use on my MacBook Pro. Works great and the speeds are very good, if not quite WiFi.
Only issue is the Access Manager software loses the modem several times a day -- usually when I sleep the computer. The usual tricks -- pulling the modem out, using a different USB port, using the "refresh" command, reloading Access Manager, etc -- do not work. I end up having to reboot.
Access Manager isn't the most elegant program I've ever seen, so this may just be a programming issue with Verizon.
Any suggestions?
Thanks much.
