Verizon and SMS feature in address book

Has Verizon somehow disabled the bluetooth SMS feature within Address Book?

I can pair my phone with Address Book by clicking on that little bluetooth icon but it doesn't send txts when I try. It also doesn't give me an error saying that a txt wasn't sent.

Anyone else have this problem? I have heard that Verizon disables things like this.

Verizion DOES disable stuff like this. I was unable to send some files over to my phone via bluetooth because of Verizon's gay software.
