Verizon Buy-One-Get-One Free ???

HA! I pretty sure I already know the answer to this (stupid) question, but I've been waiting so long for Verizon to finally get the iPhone that now my wife and I are both up for upgrades and we're both leaning toward the iPhone4.

Do you think there's any chance in He l l that Verizon would ever make available a BOGO free offer on the iPhone4?

Some people just deserve all the scorn and ridicule they bring on themselves. :D
 
I'm pretty sure they'll offer that deal when they offer their back-to-school special as buy a mac, get an iPhone free; and they begin to offer pre-installation of Windows on new Macs. (read: never)

Absolutely not.

Apple tells retailers that if they want to sell their products they cant price Apple products lower than X amount. For the U.S. iPhone retailers they can't go lower than $199 per current year iPhone otherwise they get banned from selling Apple products in the future.

Link to the source of this information, because I'm quite certain terms of Apple's contracts with cell companies have never been revealed.

Also, no BOGO, ever.
 
I knew someone would ask this question sooner or later. Your guess is right though. I'd be very very surprised if VZ did a BOGO on the iPhone... but (I'll leave it at the but).
 
@OP - Dont mind the mucrumors ihavenolifeandknoweverything answers. Apparently talking down to everyone that pops in here with a question is the new thing to do. Not all of us live here. The iPhone is such an in demand item that it will more than likely never happen. If anything, like they just recently did to get rid of stock, they'll probably heavily discount the oldest generation phones before a new release is about to be announced / released.
 
BOGO isn't really a "free" phone anyway. It's simply two at half price each, and requiring a two year contract.

Haven't there been such low price specials before?

Didn't Best Buy have iPhones for free not long ago?

They've also been given away free or nearly so in several countries for signing a contract.

So there's plenty of precedent for half price or even lower.

I dont think they will ever do it.


However it is a legimitate question since verizon did it with the droid when it was the best phone in their lineup. I guess the iphone is in a different category ;)

It wouldn't matter if you had never visited this site, anyone with any common sense knows that Verizon will not be offering iPhones for buy one get one free.
 
There is no reason for you to get your shorts wet dreaming about a BOGO offer. You'll just end up sticky and frustrated!!
