It references the up to $1100 off a 17 with trade in. However there is a deal where you can get an Apple Watch for free when you buy a new pro. Does anyone know if we can get both deals, or is it one or the other?

You can do both. The phone will need to be on the Unlimited Ultimate plan for 36 months in order to get the full benefit. The watch is only for the 42mm model, and will also need to be on a service plan for 36 months.

So on the main article the verbiage for the bundle deal states the following, which includes the ultra:

I'm not sure why the disclaimer says "42 mm only", but I think you're right. It's a $500 credit towards an Apple Watch. The 42mm model would end up being free; the Ultra would be $500 off via monthly credits.
