Hoping someone might have an answer for this or maybe there is a jailbreak that allows you to do this. Now I've done it before on my att iphone 4 where you can insert a dual sim card tray into the phone to switch between carriers.

Now my real question is...because the iphone 4s with verizon is now cdma/gsm compatible and I plan on switching carriers and getting a verizon unlocked iphone 4s. Is it possible to also have the option to put a different sim into the phone, say an att pay as you go micro? And if so can you switch between verizon cdma to the gsm card in the states?

To sum it all up, I know I can get my phone unlocked through verizon and want to have the option to use att's network for when I am in areas that have better reception. So basically have best of both worlds while keeping a att sim in the phone.

Thanks for reading and hope to find an answer!:D

Well there is a tpsim from a group in china no one has ever heard about before (chinasnow) that would allow you to access locked local gsm networks, but it costs $85 and no one knows if it's legit or not. I wouldn't recommend getting one until its been thoroughly tested.

There's probably never going to be another software unlock again.

Factory unlock will only allow to use International SIM cards, no domestics (or AT&T)

Well thats no fun :(
