I want to upgrade my girlfriends iPhone to the new iPhone when it comes out. Except I want to do it without her knowledge.

We are on separate accounts. Is there a way for me to buy her the new iPhone and switch service to a new iPhone without her account info? Maybe just plug it into her iTunes?

I know AT&T uses sim cards but her Verizon iPhone doesn't have one.

Thanks for any help.

If you have her online account information you can upgrade from there without her knowledge. If not then no way of doing it unless you ask for her information.

Hmm. That might be tough without her catching on.

I kind of figured there would be more too it then just plugging a new iPhone into her iTunes. Thanks for the help.

Just to warn you if you don't activate the phone within 14 days you will be charged the full prices so if it's a birthday present for her, make sure it's within two weeks.
