I just got a Macbook Pro 13 inch and I was wondering if anybody could tell me how I can use my Verizon wireless data plan to access the internet with my computer on the go. Any kind of advice or even a quick tutorial would be appreciated. Thanks.

Not necessarily. You can use the USB broadband dongles without issue.
EDIT: Here is how to get a Verizon USB dongle to work:
1. Insert your USB dongle into a slot.
2. Open Network Prefs and it will show a new connection.
3. Enter the following information:
Code:
Telephone Number: #777
Account Name: <ten digit phone number of device>@vzw3g.com
Password: vzw5. Change Vendor to Other.
6. Change Model to "Verizon Support (PC 5520)"
7. Okay your way out of it.
Note, if you connect the USB dongle to a different USB port, the connection setup above will not work. So, I rename the connections like "Left Rear USB", "Right USB", etc.
True. But the OP didn't say, so I assumed...
The dongle would be far more convenient in either case.
