I just got a Macbook Pro 13 inch and I was wondering if anybody could tell me how I can use my Verizon wireless data plan to access the internet with my computer on the go. Any kind of advice or even a quick tutorial would be appreciated. Thanks.:)

Do you have a broadband USB card or are you tethering to a phone?

Not necessarily. You can use the USB broadband dongles without issue.

EDIT: Here is how to get a Verizon USB dongle to work:

1. Insert your USB dongle into a slot.
2. Open Network Prefs and it will show a new connection.
3. Enter the following information:
Code:
Telephone Number: #777
Account Name: <ten digit phone number of device>@vzw3g.com
Password: vzw
4. Click Advanced.
5. Change Vendor to Other.
6. Change Model to "Verizon Support (PC 5520)"
7. Okay your way out of it.

Note, if you connect the USB dongle to a different USB port, the connection setup above will not work. So, I rename the connections like "Left Rear USB", "Right USB", etc.

No

I'm not trying to use a usb card. I want to use it through bluetooth.
