Does anybody know if Verizon requires that you show continues proof of employment in order to receive a work discount.

I ask because Im thinking of making the switch from ATT but I know ATT only asks for proof of employment upfront and then never asks for it again. If I make the jump to Verizon I want to make sure that I can keep my discount even if I leave my current employer.

Verizon does ask for it up front, and during the 3 years we've been with them, they've asked us to verify it once (last year, around October I believe). Was simple, all my wife had to do was enter her work email address, get an email, click on the link to verify, and the discount remained. This however wouldn't work if you left your current employer however (provided they did do yearly verifications again).

I have had my Verizon discount through my employer for almost 2 years and they have not asked for proof of employment again.
