Do the physical Apple stores support Verizon Edge? I'd be starting a new account.

Yes, you can do this with edge, but members are having varying results.

you can do Edge at the apple store, you can even do early edge also.

And how about AT&T Next?

Yes you can do AT&T Next at the apple store. You just can't do AT&T Next if you are currently on AT&T Next and is currently available for AT&T Next upgrade again. So I'd assume that would be the same case with Verizon.

I was told as long you go into the store, you can do verizon edge. It's pretty much brand new that apple started this.

Looking for a hopefully definitive answer to this. I was just told by Apple online store customer service that Apple Stores do not do Verizon Edge- nationwide. I have to go to a Verizon Store in order to do Verizon Edge. Can anyone confirm they've done Verizon Edge at an Apple retail store?

The apple stores do Verizon Edge. You can not buy online and pick up in store, you have to go and buy the phone at the apple store. I did it myself yesterday.

We were at Apple today. Apple ONLY does Verizon edge if you currently are already under a Verizon edge line...so only upgrades. If it is a new account, only best buy and Verizon does it.

1) yes, I definitively did Edge in Apple Store

2) I already had an account with Verizon but was not on an Edge line. I was still under contract and "Edged Up" early. I am awaiting my kit from Verizon to mail then my old phone.
