Verizon Fios + Airport Express= slow streaming?

So I have a Airport Express hooked up to my new verizon fios wireless lan router which has coax connection running straight through. I setup the aiport express to do non bridge mode and create a wireless network from the fios router. I also turned off the verizon router from transmitting a wireless network. Now keep in mind I have a 35/35 fios connection. I also did speed tests and they seem to be pretty consistent with the 35/35 on a wirless network. However whenever I stream some sort of video on youtube and vimeo the streaming seems to do it packets. So the video would load a second of playable footage then start giving me the streaming symbol then a huge chunk of video would be available for playback after 20 seconds. What setting am I not set/adjusted to prevent this?
