Has anyone else gotten this email re: recycle program?
This morning I received an email from VZN Recycling Program - subject contained the words GIFT CARD ENCLOSED.
But when I read the contents of the email, it stated that they had not yet received my phone and gave detailed instructions on how to return the phone. Phone was sent back on September 20th. What is more confusing is that the email has full details of the gift card .. amount, number, pin etc. When I check status it says it is PAID.
A call to the customer service number says call back later, high call volume. That makes sense of this email has gone out to thousands of people.
Also wanted to know if I can "pay" a VZN bill that has a zero balance and have them use the credit towards my next bill which is on auto-pay. If anyone knows answer to that question, please share. If and when I get to talk to them, I will post the answer to that question.
Update: Call to VZN billing - Gift card is good. They did in fact receive my old phone. You can pay your bill online, but it will only accept that portion that pays your bill and leave a balance on the gift card to use next time.
