Verizon "grandfathered" unlimited data info

Not sure if it's been posted, but I found out about grandfathered unlimited data and the iPhone 5.

From What I've been told by Verizon Support, and by a person in a Verizon store, if you are on the grandfathered unlimited data plan, as I am, if you buy the iPhone 5 at full-price you can keep unlimited data. If you buy it at the contract price then you have to change plans.

Depends on what you have now. Since I have 3 lines, the sales guy said that the Family Share plan would run me just $11 more per month. But since I'm the only smartphone on the plan, id rather stay at where I'm at. I like not worrying about data.
