Last night I saw that Verizon had added an option for $300 off any iPad with a two-year contract if you were purchasing an iPhone that included the $40 Upgrade fee. So their regular $200 off is now $300 off if you're willing to commit for two years on the iPad and are doing an iPhone upgrade anyway. Work with 6s, 6s +, 6, 6 +, and 5s, by the looks of it. Ordered a 128 gb sg mini 4 for $429, with shipment expected 10/5. Not a world beater, but not bad, either. Almost all currently shipping iPads are eligible.

As long as you ordered an iPhone after 9/19, you can get in on this deal even if you didn't see it initially. Verizon customer service did approve the $300 off, even though I missed seeing the offer initially.
