I've setup my Verizon iPhone on my Wifi connection at home however i notice it randomly switches from Wifi to 3G and vice versa is there a setting that will keep it on the wifi connection? I'm also in the same room as the router.

Does it do this while using the phone, or just when you press the sleep/wake button?

this same thing happens to me in the same scenario. Has the poster figured this out yet? It is extremely annoying and hinders my ability to video chat on my iphone while in my home near my router. I will start a video call on facetime, skype, oovoo, or tango, and after 10 or so seconds the quality becomes very poor then the phone switches to 3g.
Facts:
Verizon Iphone 4 latest SW update.
Lynksis wireless G router.
speedtest 14mbps average.
ipad works with skype, facetime anywhere in the house.

Does either user have stuff that won't run on a wireless router? I had an APP that for some reason wouldn't run on my WIFI so it was auto-disabling it and going to 3g for the entire phone.

Can't remember what that APP was.
