Exciting rumor for you Verizon lovers.

Verizon's iPhone 4 Launch has an estimated date of Jan 6 2011. It will be Apple's big opportunity in the smartphone sector, as this will give them a spot on Verizon's roster right next to their highly successful Android phones.

I'm on both Verizon & AT&T. While my personal experience with these two carriers is about equal over the last few years, I prefer AT&T for it's superior customer service. YMMV... :)

When Steve Jobs said a second US carrier might make sense, he wasn't saying it would ever happen.

Let me make this easy for you. Verizon has the droids making them tons of money. Verizon wants the iPhone just because of fanboys they will never get the same phone AT&T has they want to completely separate their product line. Expect an upgraded version whenever it is released for Verizon because droid hardware is being updated so quickly.

That's not exactly making it easy. With the massive lack of punctuation in your post, I don't know what the hell you're saying.
 
The existence of a CDMA iPhone... does NOT mean it will go to Verizon by next year.

There are markets out there that primarily use CDMA technology larger than Verizon's subscribership that Apple can sell the iPhone to (for instance: China and Russia).

That's the issue with analysts. They THINK just because it exists, it'll go to them first. That's not the case always.

An excellent example? Dell is a company based here in AMERICA, but the Dell STREAK went on sale in Europe first. You would think it would come to the US first right?

This is exactly the case.

No Verizon iPhone until 2012. Period. That contract is binding.

Also, the title of the post is misleading. This thread should be closed.
 
Technically Apple doesn't need Verizon. As much as people like to say how much they hate AT&T, 600,000 people ordered an iPhone on the first day.
 
hmmm so verizon is going to have the iphone 4 in jan 2011!!!

I think i will stick with ATT then because in 6 months there will be a new iphone 5 hahaha

verizon is not getting the iphone...

people said it in 07, 08, 09, 2010..... can we please let it die

Nope haven't changed my mind. No way will we see a mid-cycle iPhone release on a new carrier and without Apple giving the keynote.
