Verizon iPhone 4, World iPhone 4, iPhone 5

The Verizon iPhone 4 release date is in February but, I'm reading/hearing conflicting stories about the iPhone launching this Summer. The iPhone launching this Summer is an iPhone 4 World phone for both CDMA & GSM, and the iPhone 5 is a totally redesigned phone for LTE/4g for launch in 2012. I don't know how true that is, but I just heard it on the news.

Don't know where you heard that rumor. Verizon iPhone 4 is pure CDMA. iPhone 5 launching this summer is world phone. Well at least per the rumors, especially from engadget who doesn't throw their weight around unless it's nearly certain.

That's what I thought...the World phone is the iPhone 5.
