I have a question on both of these devices.

Ppl confirmed that all verizon iPhone 5 is unlocked and I tested my 2 year contract iP5 with AT&T nano sim today and it works on the AT&T network.

But once I restore my contracted Verizon iPhone 5 to fresh starts, the phone need my Verizon sim card to active the iPhone or it will stays in the welcome screen.

I want to know if you get "device only" from Verizon, do you need their sim to activate the phone?

Thanks!
