Verizon iPhone 5 comes unlocked for overseas use?

Just got a tweet from Verizon Wireless Support that the iPhone 5 comes unlocked for use while traveling overseas. Anyone else heard of this?

For the 4S they would unlock it for international use if the customer was in good standing (after 30 days), I believe. Would be interesting if they came unlocked internationally, though.
