I purchased my Verizon iPhone 5 using the 'loophole' to maintain my unlimited data. All is good but I have some battery issues that are concerning. I want to make a genius bar appointment but I am worried about loosing ULD if I get a replacement phone.

My general understanding is that a replacement from an Apple Store will not change the 'plan' just the hardware.

So I am curious to see if anyone here has had a replacement iPhone 5 from an Apple Store and either Maintained or Lost Unlimited Data after the replacement.

How would switching hardware change your plan?

That is kind of how i feel, but I just want to make sure. After keeping ULD, I don't want to loose it but some odd chance.

Anyone else care to chime in here?

I don't see how could be an issue.
Wouldn't it be the same as if you bought the phone on eBay or Craigslist?

As someone who has Verizon iPhone 5 with unlimited data, I got it replaced with a new iPhone due to video issues. Basically put your sim card in the new phone and it will activate everything automatically.

Thanks you all for the feedback. I will be going in within the next week or so to have the ip5 looked at. If a replacement is needed, I have no doubt that my plan will remain as is! Thanks again!
