Verizon iPhone 5 wont call out

The phone other than making a call works fine. I can call out using Skype, but not Verizon. Tried hard reset and went to iTunes and added phone as new. Just got phone Friday, have not been able to make calls. Going to Apple store tonight. Any suggestions????
