I'm hoping someone here on the forum can help me with a problem I'm having.

I have a Verizon iPhone 5S that was purchased in the US a few months ago. I have relocated to Chile and have a Entel network SIM card that has 4G capability (I've verified that it works) on the original phone it was in. When I put the SIM card into my iPhone 5S, it will only receive a 3G signal. I've updated the carrier settings. And I have 4G access enabled in my settings.

Everything else works well, I'm just not getting the 4G signal. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Charlie

From what I'm reading on Wikipedia, Entel uses band 7 for LTE. The Verizon 5s(or any other IPhone 5s sold in the US for that matter) doesn't support band 7 for LTE.

That phone won't work on LTE with the carrier you're using.
