Verizon iPhone 5S in Hong Kong

If I buy an iPhone 5S with Verizon, it'll be locked.

I'm going to Hong Kong in December, and the carrier I am with (3HK) uses sim cards as they are GSM, not CDMA.

Is it possible to have the Verizon 5S unlocked for GSM use in Hong Kong?
