Verizon iPhone 8 - Talk and Data?

On the 8, can you talk on the phone and use data at the same time or is this still an issue?

One reason I haven't switched from AT&T.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe it was fixed in earlier versions. I have iPhone 7 and I can do both at the same time.

I think this has worked on Verizon since the iPhone 6.

Yes, LTE fixed that issue a long time ago. iPhone 6/6+ was when that became a reality on the iPhone. Anywhere you have LTE on Verizon, you are good. If you're in an Extended 1X area, not so good, but that's rare and you usually only see that in rural areas. Nonetheless it's something to consider if you live or work somewhere where Verizon's network isn't LTE for you.
