Hi all, how well will apps like AIM, Tom Tom work on the Verizon iphone 4. Since the network is slower than ATT, would that make a big difference in the apps like that ? Will notifications still work just like on the att version ?

Thanks

You won't notice any difference in most apps. The only way you would see any difference b/w 1mbps & 3 mbps is if you're downloading a larger file.

Notifications will be identical.

AIM uses such little data that there will be no difference - in fact, theoretically could be faster on VZW since it tends to have lower latency than ATT.

TomTom and many other navigation apps like Navigon store the maps internally, so no data connection is even needed once the app is downloaded and installed.
