Hi I had my iPhone 4 for about a week and I just today tried the FaceTime feature with two of my friends from work. They both own 4th generation iPod Touches. I tried to FaceTime with them and the iPhone would call the email address on the iTouch but it would not connect and it would say it failed.

Is FaceTime only iPhone 4 to iPhone 4 or is FaceTime for iPhone 4 to iPhone 4 and iPod Touch 4 generation?

So do I turn off my carrier service and turn wifi on to FaceTime?

And I am but everytime I call my friend iPod touch it just stays at the connecting screen for minutes. Isn't it suppose to connect instantly?

I found the solution. All I did was turn FaceTime off in the Phone settings and turned it back on and waited for the activation, I set the iPhone and turned it on and FaceTime one of my friends and boom I connected successfully! Woot
