Verizon Iphone line question?

Hi on my my plan is my brother my mom and me. I have an iPhone 4S my brother has some flip phone and my mom has a env. My moms phone was available for an upgrade. I tried to get the upgrade to switch over to my line but it wouldn't let me do that. So I just updated my moms phone to the iphone 5. Now how would I get that on my line? Could I just switch numbers and then my mom could go on my 4S and then downgrade back to her env?

idk, I had to do the same thing. Verizon wouldn't let me transfer the upgrade so I said screw it and just upgraded the eligible line through Apple.

Some people I know said I could just switch them

right. just buy under your moms upgrade then bring phone to store and have them switch the phone to your line. doesn't cost anything. takes 2 min.

So would I activate the iphone 5 first on my moms line, then take it to the store?
And also would my moms number go on my 4s?
