I just got off the phone with someone at verizon who stated you wont be able to multi-task while on a call with the verizon iphone. Has anyone else received similar information?

Thanks

He means you won't be able to use your data connection while on the phone. Verizon is CDMA which doesn't allow for simultaneous voice and data. You will still be able to multitask by going into different apps but you just won't be able to USE the data connection while on a phone call (ex: using Google Maps to look up directions to a restaurant while on a phone call).

That would be the main drawback/difference between a Verizon IP4 and an AT&T IP4. For some people it is a deal breaker, but to others it isn't. I have an IP4 on AT&T and use that feature atleast twice a week (conference calls for work). Although I believe if you are connected to WIFI, that will allow you to use data/voice together on Verizon, though i'm not 100% sure since I have never used Verizon.
