Does anyone know if Apple Stores in Los Angeles are still selling iPhone 5's for retail? I want to get a no-contract Verizon iPhone 5 since I have unlimited data. Every time I go into an Apple store or call a store I get a different answer - some tell me they receive shipments and others tell me they no longer sell retail.

I bought a no-contract iPhone from Apple store in Glendale on Oct. 23 (?).

You can buy an iPhone Verizon, no contract as well, as it is expected to ship on 11/16. usually it ships sooner. Demand has substantially dropped for iPhone along with new phones coming out, like the Sumsung Galaxy Note 2, LG Nexus, Droid DNA, HTC Butterfly, etc.

Can you tell me where? From apple.com - seems like I need to pick a contract...

Well, you and I are different because I am NOT eligible for an upgrade. You can just go through the whole steps, for me, it says not eligible for contract price and the retail full price pops up.

For you, I do not know since you are eligible for an upgrade.
