Verizon Iphone skipping songs

Verizon iPhone 4 running latest software. Sync to iTunes and added my music to the phone successfully. However, when selecting a song, it will go to the song for about three seconds, skip to the next song and begin playing that song. Pause that song select a new song, goes to that song again for about three seconds, skip to the next song and play that song.

Any help in resolving the issue would greatly be appreciated.

I had the same problem awhile ago. First try restarting your phone. If that doesn't work restore it. The problem will definatly be fixed after that.
