Verizon iphone4 data unlimited usage with MyWi

Hey guys, I have quick question regarding the unlimited data, and MyWi support. Is verizon going to know i went around their $20/mo tether fee by looking at my 5gb+ monthly usage? How do they go about investigating this issue? What can be done with evade this? Thanks for the help
 
I have been hearing they don't really look into it. Is this true? Has anyone ever had a problem with ATT?
