Verizon keeps dropping from LTE to 1x

Anyone else having signal issues with Verizon on the new iPhone 6. I cannot say if other phones work better as I jsut ported over from Verizon. We have dropped more calls on both our iPhone 6's on Verizon then I did in last year with AT&T. We switched hoping for better overall data speeds. We are located in Phoenix.
