Im thinking to get a mifi device from eBay and connect my iPad to LTE. Do you know if I can get no contract service this way? On Verizon website, I only saw 2 year contract unlike iPad data plan.

You can get a post paid plan with no contract, yes.

post paid just means that its like a cell phone bill, you get a bill for it and pay it. Pre-paid, you pay for the service before hand.

The only problem with going no contract is that you will have to buy the device outright, which is like $300 instead of getting it for free. I prefer the month to month contracts myself.

also keep in mind with the post paid plan it's $50/month for 5gb of data. whereas prepaid you can get 2gb of data for only $30/month

So, that means that I can still cancel it after one month with post paid? I'm thinking using this only when I'm traveling.
